ABOUT KANEKA TURNER
Mathematics has changed the way I see myself, the way I engage with others, and the way I see the world. Leading in the field of mathematics has proven to be more ministry than vocation. Through Reimage, I have taken up my call to action of \"Extending the Invitation\" to math leadership to as many as possible. At Reimage we seek to normalize Black and Brown women leading in math education as well as the math achievement of Black and Brown students. We may not all choose to be mathematicians or math leaders but Reimage intends to make sure that this choice is not made for us. Connect with me to learn more about how we might attract and retain teachers through the intentional design of pathways to math leadership for teachers within and beyond the classroom.
