ABOUT KAL NGUYEN
I co-founded SUMMONER. We are a creative agency for fandoms and gaming culture. I\'m an artist, designer, creative, leader, entrepreneur, and maker of things.When I was younger, I wanted to make a t-shirt brand. I went to art school. I learned to screen print. I bought business books (I didn\'t read them.) I stumbled into making snowboards for a time. Then I got into marketing. I learned how to make campaigns. I made a lot of silly odds and ends. I crafted logos, I wrote scripts and manifestos, and I brought some fun ideas to life. I worked across damn near every industry. I fell in love with gaming. I won some awards. I lost a lot of sleep. I didn\'t want to think about increasing shareholder value anymore. I built a plethora of brands, led teams, and affected culture (.I think?). I did a lot of things. None of them were making t-shirts.Now? I\'m building Summoner with my pals. I think we wanna make a t-shirt brand. We want to make things people are passionate about.
