ABOUT KAITLYN SPINA

As a Team Lead on the Post-Enrollment function at Keypath Education, I serve as a functional leader by coaching advisors, training new hires, conducting advisor evaluations, & advising online nursing students in both retention & clinical placement matters. I began working as a Student Success Advisor at Keypath in September 2020 & was promoted to Senior Student Success Advisor in February 2022. In this role, I collaborated with a team of 2 other Seniors to develop the function’s annual engagement roadmap, planning & leading initiatives to help advisors reach functional goals. I was promoted to Post-Enrollment Team Lead in January 2024.I am a lifelong learner & a global collaborator. Beyond my Team Lead role at Keypath, I am a founder and leader of the Metrics Accountability Program, a resource developed for functional leadership to provide peer accountability & support to their advisors. I am a graduate of the second cohort of Keypath’s Future Leaders Program (April-October 2022). Additionally, I served as the 2021-22 Lead Ambassador for the US branch of Student Success Global Collaboration Club, working with my counterparts in CAN, UK, & AUS branches to drive engagement & provide collaboration opportunities.I have worked in higher education administration since 2019, starting as a Program Mentor & Writing Instructor at the University of Chicago. In these roles, I mentored graduate students in the Master of Arts Program in the Humanities (MAPH) & taught humanistic writing to first-year undergraduates in the Reading Cultures Humanities Core.I earned my Master of Arts in the Humanities at the University of Chicago (\'19) & my Bachelor of Arts in English with Honors from Skidmore College (\'17). My intellectual interests include global & anglophone literary modernisms, history of astrophysics, speculative fiction, feminist science fiction, poetry, Italian literature, & modern & contemporary art.
