ABOUT KAARE KURTZKE

As the Global Product Line Manager at Gates Corporation, I oversee the development and management of innovative and high-performance industrial products that meet the needs of customers across various markets and regions. I have a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on business analytics and business strategy, which enables me to apply data-driven and customer-centric approaches to product design, testing, and marketing.I have more than 14 years of experience in the engineering field, spanning multiple industries and disciplines. I started my career as an Aerospace Engineer, where I gained skills in 3D CAD modeling, high-speed gas dynamics, and fiber-optic research and development. I then transitioned to the lighting industry, where I held roles as a Reverse Engineer, a Residential Lighting Designer, a Product Marketing Manager, and a Director of Sales for the US. In these positions, I leveraged my engineering background and business acumen to create, launch, and sell products that delivered value and quality to customers. I also led and supported teams of engineers, designers, salespeople, and marketers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. My passion is to design and develop products that solve problems, enhance performance, and improve lives. I enjoy working with diverse and talented teams, learning new technologies and trends, and challenging myself to grow and excel as an engineering leader.
