ABOUT JUSTYNA IGNASZAK

I have over five years of experience in project management in an international environment. In my current role as a Program Execution Manager, I support Project Managers in their daily work, ensuring consistent project management practices that enable the achievement of not only project-level objectives, but also broader strategic and programmatic goals.In TechSoup Foundation, I work at the intersection of digital activism, democracy, and civic resilience.I coordinate projects within the Digital Activism Program across more than 20 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, West Africa, South Africa, and Latin America, supporting activists, changemakers, and civil society organizations working to strengthen democracy and independent civic space.In Digital Activism Program team we design capacity-building programs, trainings, and whole partnerships that help organizations build media literacy, improve strategic communication, and navigate increasingly polarized information environments.I’m also a PhD candidate at the Warsaw School of Economics, where I study how public attitudes influence policymaking. I have completed two stages of the research: narrative analysis and a quantitative study, and I am currently moving into the third stage: in-depth interviews.Beyond research and program management, I’m deeply passionate about education, civic empowerment, and strengthening people’s sense of agency, but also about addressing the climate crisis, because without a healthy planet we simply won’t have a space for any form of civic action.
