I recently stepped into this role as Operations Manager for a busy service and logistics facility. As the senior site leader, I’m responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting a team of field technicians and managers, and helping ensure we meet performance goals, maintain safety standards, and deliver a high level of service.While I’m still getting up to speed, my focus is on building strong relationships, learning our systems and workflows, and identifying ways to improve efficiency, scheduling, and inventory management. Over the years, I’ve worked in logistics, warehouse management, and high-volume shipping environments, where I’ve had the chance to improve workflows, coach people, and solve problems on the fly.I care a lot about helping teams do their best work—whether that means tweaking a process, creating a training guide, or just being available when something unexpected comes up. I’ve found that the right systems can make everyone’s job easier, and I’m always looking for ways to make things more efficient without overcomplicating them.I try to lead by example, stay calm when things get busy, and focus on making steady improvements over time. I’m still learning every day, but I like the challenge of helping a team stay focused, supported, and moving forward.At the heart of it all, I believe good operations is about people—creating clarity, supporting growth, and delivering consistently excellent results.
