Creates and supervises production budgets and assists in ensuring all aspects of production run smoothly.Creates and supervises production schedules to ensure all work stays inside budgetary boundaries and time constraints.Works closely with Line Producers, other PM staff, as well as, internal producers, and executives to examine the needs of each production.Hires crew and project-based staff, negotiates rates of pay for production personnel, negotiates costs and approves booking resources, equipment, and suppliers needed for each production.Oversees location bookings and arranges for all necessary permissions, permits, and risk assessments. Coordinates with other internal departments as needed to ensure all legal and safety parameters of a production are met and that all deliverables are received and distributed appropriately.Ensure that all production hires have the necessary skills to perform their functions competently (effectively and efficiently) and professionally.Build, support, and refine working relationships with all internal and external clients and personnel with whom production management interacts.Collaborate with internal and external partners to create clear and effective lines of communication.Provide strong leadership and serve as an example to subordinates of the company\'s culture and brand.Maintain, modify, and monitor all the relevant production systems and processes to ensure ongoing proactive supply of this service to clients during pre-production, production, and post-production phases of project, including, but not limited to: rights and clearances, talent, staffing, crewing, technical facilities & equipment, vendors, design and staging, lighting, production accounting, post production, travel, logistics, legal, and insurance & production risk.
