As a Board Member of First Tee–Central Iowa, I support the organization’s mission to empower young people through the game of golf by helping them build character, confidence, and essential life skills. In this role, I contribute to strategic planning, organizational oversight, and community engagement to ensure the long‑term growth and impact of First Tee programs throughout Central Iowa.A key part of my involvement includes supporting the organization’s marketing efforts. I help expand community awareness, strengthen the brand’s visibility, and enhance outreach to families, donors, and local partners. Through this work, I assist in promoting events, elevating program stories, and ensuring that First Tee’s message resonates throughout the region.Additionally, I collaborate with fellow board members on fundraising initiatives, community partnership development, and efforts to broaden access to youth programming—especially in underserved areas. Together, we help advance a mission‑driven organization that uses golf as a powerful vehicle for developing values such as integrity, perseverance, respect, and responsibility.
