Responsible for the day-to-day management, fiscal management, and fundraising of the organization. Work closely with the Board of Directors, Program Director, Coaches and Volunteers to advance the organization\'s mission of providing educational programs that build character, instill core values and promote healthy habits through the game of golf.Work with key community, business and golf industry leaders to develop a strong Board of Directors, framework and strategic plan for the organization that currently reaches nearly young people annually throughout Central Iowa- Build and administer a comprehensive annual operating budget of nearly $350K- Effectively manage, monitor and oversee financial reporting - Generate and retain new corporate sponsors and individual donors to achieve sales objectives- Create and submit appealing grant applications to request funding from Foundations- Strategically lead a collaborative process with the Board of Directors and its committees, executing its decisions effectively and ensuring that the Board of Directors and its committees are informed of critical developments in a timely and effective manner- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and execute the organization’s strategic plan - Support the development and cultivation of a strong Board of Directors and committees- Proficiently lead, motivate and manage a dynamic staff and volunteers - Effectively raising the public profile of First Tee — Central Iowa by serving as the spokesperson and advocate for the organization, as well as being an influential leader and fundraiser in central IowaAccomplishments- 89% increase in charitable contributions over the past five years- 315% increase in youth participants as the Executive Director- Successfully launched a Girls Golf Program in the summer of 2017- Added 8 new Summer Program Sites, 8 First Tee Community Program Sites and 7 First Tee School Program Sites since 2016
