ABOUT JULIE WILDHABER
I develop people, programs, and properties. I\'m a team leader, people manager, UX expert, and versatile digital content strategist who\'s passionate about delivering the best experience for users and the best outcomes for the business. My mission is to empower customers and my team with clear communications, seamless flows, and strong relationships. I\'m skilled in all aspects of content operations and optimization: content strategy, coaching, developing and evangelizing best practices, editing, writing, content SEO, Web usability and UX, people management, project management, running a content calendar, site metrics, and collaborating across departments and with external partners. I drive editorial and UX excellence on deadline, work the kinks out of tools and processes, build cohesive teams, and forge order from chaos. At ServiceNow, I\'m the Senior Manager, UX Content Strategy, leading a team of five on the global website. We define and optimize the buyer’s journey as well as the digital experience for campaigns, customer success, company pages, and more. At Cisco, I was the senior content strategist on Cisco.com\'s global site, which houses more than 4 million pages. I worked with marketing and product managers to maximize customer engagement and minimize friction in the user journey. At Download.com, part of CBS Interactive (in Comscore\'s top 10 media sites), I led a team of editors and developed a content strategy to give software users the expert guidance they could not find on other app sites. At Yahoo, I pioneered a professional development program for writers and editors, with courses including SEO, writing for the Web, developing voice, and Internet law. I co-authored \"The Yahoo! Style Guide\"(St. Martin\'s Press) and helped develop its companion website and LMS. And I wrote the entry that won Yahoo\'s communications team its first PRSA Silver Anvil, the top PR award for technology marketing. At CNET, I was employee 122, one of the editorial architects of the original site and the network that grew out of it. During my tenure as managing editor, CNET grew to 15 million uniques per month, coverage rose from 5 product reviews per week to 50, with more than reviews and features per year, and the site received numerous awards.
