After nearly 3 years with CH2M, the company has been acquired by Jacobs. Roadway Designer; Interstate 25 (I-25) South Gap Project; CDOT; The project is located along an 18-mile segment of I-25 between Denver and Colorado Springs in the Colorado Front Range. The project involves widening from 2 to 3 lanes and full width shoulders. Using CDOT standards, re-designed 8 ramps (4 entrance ramps, 4 exit ramps) ensuring that impacts remained within right-of-way and had minimal effect on existing wetlands. Created horizontal alignments, vertical alignments, and surfaces using Microstation and Inroads. Also checked vertical clearances for all 6 affected interchanges.
