ABOUT JULIE MCDONALD

I have spent my entire career helping Bay Area technology companies develop and implement human resources programs and policies, often in times of organizational stress. I have built HR departments from the ground up and guided organizations through multiple acquisitions and leadership changes. I stay on top of the minutiae while always looking at the bigger picture.My leadership style is one of patience and understanding. I am collaborative and approachable. I listen, give concise instructions and provide feedback as appropriate. I consider myself a champion of the people who report to me and I encourage their growth. Executives and employees know they can trust my integrity and rely on my support and discretion.Plus, I’ve got a great sense of humor.In my spare time, I raise and train service dogs for people with disabilities and act as a host mom for players on the San Francisco/San Jose Giants minor league team.
