WORK HISTORY
Sr Hvdc Control Engineer @GE Vernova
Paris, FR
Lead the control design of the VSC-HVDC Bipole Reference Solution — a standardised control architecture applied across all GE Vernova HVDC projects — covering bipole schemes up to ±525 kV DC and 2 GW (offshore–onshore, back-to-back and point-to-point rigid bipole programmes). Leading the technical roadmap and implementation of Synchronous Grid-Forming (SGFM) control for VSC-HVDC, managing a team of 5 control engineers across the UK, Germany and India. Mentor and technically guide 5 control engineers through hands-on coaching on advanced HVDC control concepts, EMT modelling, and engineering best practices. Conduct applied research on HVDC, FACTS, and inverter-based resources (IBR), addressing emerging grid stability and integration challenges within GE Vernova\'s product development pipeline.
