My name is Julia Alphonso, and I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Toronto, specializing in Mechatronics, as well as Solids Mechanics & Design, with a completed minor in Robotics and Mechatronics. As someone who is fascinated by how things physically work in our world, and who has a passion for helping those in need (no matter how small the need may be), I was drawn to become an engineer as a way to help improve the quality of life for people who view their personal betterment as something seemingly out of reach.
