ABOUT JULES P.

In my work supporting military members as they separate from active service, I work diligently to provide them with as much information and resources as possible. It can be tough going out into the labor market whether you served 5yrs or 35yrs, there are unique challenges that every service member faces during that time. The position that I hold has given me the ability to see behind the veil and to have a whole new appreciation for what goes into \"getting out\". Many of my clients struggle with seeing how they are going to fit into civilian life again. The greatest challenge is the fear of failure and the worry that they may not fit in or meet the new employer’s expectations. Motivating people to see the best in themselves and to continue pushing forward to capture all life has to offer is important to me. I believe the most helpful way that I can thank our military members for their service and sacrifices is by giving them 100% of my skills and abilities and truly showing up every day that I am afforded the privilege of helping them as they re-enter the professional civilian workforce. As a military spouse, I will never understand what veterans go through during separation/retirement. What I do very deeply understand is the impact of this life on family members. I often say that I don\'t know what it is like to walk in your boots, but I know what it feels like to watch those boots board buses and planes, hoping with every fiber of my being that my husband returns safely. I know what it feels like to hold crying kids’ night after night and not being able to answer the only question they have, when is their dad coming home. It is from that place that I am driven to help support this community and every member of our amazing military family.
