As part of my ongoing development in the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport at Denbigh Sixth Form, I have taken on the responsibility of managing the Denbigh Football Academy’s Instagram account. This role allows me to combine my passion for sport with creative digital skills to promote the academy’s achievements, engage the community, and raise the profile of our team.In this position, I create and schedule regular content for the page, including matchday graphics, training updates, player highlights, and promotional posts. I use design tools such as Canva to ensure our visuals are eye-catching, consistent, and professional. I also help manage communication through the platform by responding to messages and comments, maintaining a positive and engaging tone that reflects the academy’s values.This experience has helped me develop strong skills in digital marketing, communication, creativity, organisation, and time management. It has given me real-world experience in managing a sports brand on social media and has strengthened my interest in careers that combine sport with media and promotion.
