Responsible for:• Management of compounding laboratory• Management of prescription orders• Maintenance of SOP• Assisting the pharmacist• Assisting in the pharmacy if required• Calling doctors about prescriptions• PK Software• Compounding non-sterile medications (creams, solutions, capsules, ointments, troche, suspensions, suppository, etc.)• Packing statistics (calculation), updating of old formulas and new formulas• Receiving medication orders, measuring the quantities per the specifications of the provided order and updating patient information in PK Software• Ensuring compounds are prepared in accordance with formulation, relevant compounding guidelines and quality standards• Daily cleaning of the laboratory• Checking that all equipment and balances are working correctly• Sending the compounding and documentation to the pharmacist responsible for verification• Compounding medicines in compliance with GMP (good manufacturing practice)• Maintaining/replenishing stock (placing orders with PCCA, Medisca, BellaCorp, etc.)
