ABOUT JOSHUA OAMIL
Currently, I am an associate consultant in the program management cost center at Turner & Townsend.After obtaining my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington and my Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Columbia University, I learned many things about Civil Engineering. It was from these studies that I obtained my Engineering in Training (EIT) License, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification, and also learned many principles and ideas about construction and civil engineering. It was from these schools that I was able to learn and apply ideas of project management, construction engineering, construction management, construction processes, and cost management into my career to help further advance myself as a professional in the industry. I was born in Australia, immigrated to the United States, and have traveled around the world. Because of this, I have experienced many different cultures and experiences that I can apply to myself and my work ethic. Also, the knowledge that I will have learned from these two academic institutions will give me a better understanding of how engineering in America and around the world works.
