Currently I’m working as an Interaction Designer on the Taking Farmers to Market digital initiative, helping to transform how exporters and department staff process trade quota.• Working close with an experienced Product Manager, Service Designer and UX Research to help uncover design problems. Help coordinate and run design jams in Figma, Miro and Mural to document and progress solutions. • Fully utilising Figma to design, document and prototype our service’s screens and components. Taking advantage of well maintained Shared Component Library and clearly documented design patterns. • Helped team members learn about Auto Layout, Component Properties and select plugins.• Enthusiastic participant of the Agile methodology, coming prepared with productive ideas, comments in retrospectives, stand ups, and share backs.• Supporting our developers, by helping to document the database schema, reading React component documentation, preparing mock code using the departments React component library, and producing Storybook stories to help document components and their requirements• Collaborating with the Agriculture Design System teams to introduce, test and iterate new components and design patterns. Also actively promote the design system across the organisation, plus the underlying tools and infrastructure. • Being an effective remote team member, working from home in Sydney with team members across Australia
