At Marshall Fleet Services - Thermo King, I work as a Parts Assistant.This is my day. When I get to work I sign in, this means the team know I’m on site. I am in the Parts Team, they’re all really lovely and I have great buddies. Before I start work I like to have a chat, especially about football. I’m the only one who supports Newcastle United. If they haven’t done well I sometimes get teased. It’s okay because I follow football closely and if their teams have lost I tease them! I always make sure I start my shift on time.At work I pick parts to go out to customers. I make up boxes and seal the boxes with tape ready for them to be sent out. I get the labels printed and put onto the boxes. I help put stock away when deliveries arrive. It’s important to keep everywhere clean and tidy so I help with that. This makes sure that we don’t have accidents. Sometimes customers come in to collect the parts and I help them with their orders. I work as part of a team so it’s important that I listen to my colleagues. I’ve learned lots of new things and love getting new tasks. I help with fire safety to support another team member. I carry out stock taking to help the team too. I love my job.The best thing is knowing that I make a difference and that the team love me working there.
