ABOUT JOSH MATHIAS

Josh is a degree-qualified engineer with qualifications accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia. He has 11 years\' relevant experience, having delivered some of southeast Queensland’s key road infrastructure projects. His qualifications and relevant experience will allow him to operate effectively in the role of Senior Project Engineer.As a Senior Project Engineer, Josh has delivered two sections of the M1 Southern Upgrade; Mudgeeraba to Varsity Lakes and Varsity Lakes to Burleigh, in addition to having worked on the Gateway Upgrade North (GUN) project in a Project Engineers’ capacity.Key skills he has developed relevant to these works include, on-site management of engineering staff and resources, strong technical skills and understanding of the various TMR specifications, ability to develop and implement comprehensive Project Management Plans, resolution of technical issues through the RFI process, developing and monitoring progress against construction programs, including daily productivity and cost management tracking. He has the ability to identify issues that may impact the delivery of the works and take appropriate steps in a timely manner to mitigate any delays.Josh has highly developed communication skills and a proven history of developing sound working relationships with Client Representatives and Administrators. Josh is a highly capable engineer, able to offer innovative solutions to complex project issues, whilst successfully coordinating multifaceted works packages to deliver a successful project that exceeds expectations.
