ABOUT JOSEPH MILLAR
For the past 5 years I’ve led content at Cuvva, a temporary car insurance app used by 1.5m+ drivers across Britain. I own everything we say across the marketing funnel - from landing pages and socials to emails and support articles - making sure our content is as sharp and impactful as the product itself.I focus obsessively on clarity: the job is 99% about explaining complex things quickly, removing friction, and helping people make decisions without feeling sold to. I\'m also teaching myself to design, code, and automate using AI so our content can work harder and scale faster. In a previous life I was the Online News Editor at the Daily Express, where I worked my way up from weekend freelance reporter. I wrote thousands of articles and edited tens of thousands more in a high-pressure newsroom environment that taught me to think on my feet, create and iterate ruthlessly, and make judgement calls quickly.
