ABOUT JOSEPH M.

As an educator with years of experiences, I\'ve brought my passion for education from the classroom and extended it into the sphere of international education administration. My skills and talents from my teaching background, and collectively my administrative roles in international education, allow me to infuse student-focused outcomes into strategic planning and international programs. The meaningful educationally and culturally enriching experiential learning.Over the years, I\'ve managed the study abroad life cycle on the front end (recruitment, enrollment and admissions) and back end (pre-departure, the international experience and reentry). These experiences have holistically given me a wide perspective on how to best guide and prepare students to study abroad programs that match their interests and backgrounds. My mission in life comes from my desire to primarily in serve students to encourage students to go abroad and to guide them through the process of going abroad. I see myself leading advisers and collaborating with a team in order to support and innovate the study abroad lifecycle at a college, university, or organization that supports institutions of higher education. I recognize the need for more diversity, equity and inclusion in international programming in order to increase participation for students from communities and underserved populations to seek out and embrace the journey of pursuing global citizenship. While I continue to forge strong relationships with those who work in the fields of international education and study abroad, I also enjoy connecting with others in other industries who share similar values of empathy, kindness, positivity, understanding and curiosity.Gallup CliftonStrengths: Woo · Ideation · Communication · Adaptability · Empathy
