I am a trade compliance professional with over 20 years experience in export control and imports. I design and implement compliance programs, create processes and procedures to assist in compliancy with U.S. and foreign export control laws and reduce compliance risk. I am knowledgeable in U.S, EU, UK and Canada export control laws and in imports.I’ve directed and oversee trade compliance functions in the U.S, UK, Canada and Mexico; oversee the management of relationships and agreements with third parties, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, distributors, and other third parties involved in import and export; created and provide employee training, on EAR, ITAR, OFAC, imports, trade sanctions, trade agreements, foreign corruption, Incoterms and anti-boycott matters; submitted and obtain CJs, CCATS, and export licenses from U.S. and UK governments; classified products for imports and exports (ECCN, HTS, Schedule B), facilitated exports to Iraq, Afghanstan, Middle East, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Served as the empowered official, subject expert and global compliance officer for U.S, UK, Canada and Mexico companies.
