ABOUT JOSEPHINE MARKL

Over the past years, I’ve worked across startup and international brand environments, taking on hands-on responsibility within marketing teams and supporting campaigns from planning through to execution. I enjoy being close to the creative process; coordinating shoots, managing timelines and assets, and helping bring ideas to life.At AVE & YOU, a Berlin-based beauty startup, I owned social media and email marketing across Instagram, TikTok, and Klaviyo, managed influencer partnerships and budgets, and coordinated campaigns, promotions, and website updates end-to-end. Working in a small team meant a high level of ownership and a strong understanding of how creative decisions connect to brand and commercial outcomes.At 2XU in Melbourne, I supported campaign rollouts and photo shoots within a structured, performance-driven brand environment, working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and operations teams.Alongside my marketing roles, I’ve worked in international fashion and editorial environments, including projects with British Vogue, supporting high-end photo shoots, fashion shows, and styling projects in London, New York, and Florence. Being involved across the full creative process, from early coordination to on-set execution, sharpened my eye for detail and strengthened my interest in visually driven, brand-led marketing.I’m drawn to collaborative environments where ideas can evolve through conversation, experimentation, and shared responsibility. I care about details, enjoy supporting creative processes, and find motivation in seeing good ideas turn into well-executed campaigns.
