ABOUT JOE HOOKE

With over 20 years of experience in the tobacco industry, I am a Leader of regional chains at JTI Liggett, a leading manufacturer and marketer of cigarettes in the US. I am responsible for developing and executing the retail chain strategy, managing key accounts, and delivering profitable growth for the company. I have a proven track record of building strong relationships with retail partners, delivering innovative solutions, and leading cross-functional teams. Prior to joining Liggett Vector Brands, I was the head of distributor partnerships at Lula Convenience, where I oversaw the sales and distribution of convenience products to over retail outlets nationwide. I also have extensive experience in trade marketing, having served as the senior director of trade marketing strategy and operations at Reynolds American Inc. for three years. There, I led the successful launch of Vuse Solo, a leading vapor product, and the redesign of the trade marketing organization and go-to-market strategy. I have earned multiple certifications and honors, such as the RAI Leadership Team Award, the TRACOM Social Styles, the Branding Your Authentic Self, and the Critical Selling Skills. I am passionate about advancing the business acumen and leadership skills of myself and others, and I have completed executive programs at the Wharton School and Cornell University. I am a strategic thinker, a key account manager, and a driven leader who strives to create value for the company, the customers, and the consumers.
