I am a Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer using Calypso 2020 measuring software on Zeiss CMM\'s to measure high precision machined parts since 2004. I have 4 software training certificates from Zeiss in Calypso Basic, Advanced, Curve, and have attended a Zeiss User Group Continuing Education course. I also program a Nikon Nexiv vision system machine, a Smartscope vision system machine and I am familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word. I have maintained tool calibration documentation using Gagetrak calibration software. I have been a manual machinist since 1977 and a quality control inspector since 1993. I have knowledge of GD & T for high precision machined parts and can use all types of precision hand tools. I am able to communicate my findings from CMM data to the CNC machinists to show them where to improve their machining process. I have also helped CMM operators to program highly complex intricate parts to obtain desired results. I have trained machinists to use the CMM’s to check their production parts using simplified CMM programs.
