ABOUT JORGE WAHNER
After more than 20 years as an educator, much of it spent in special education, I\'m an experienced leader able to work collaboratively at multiple levels, including at school sites and with district administrators. I put a high priority on mentoring and training teachers and staff members to function in highly diverse and intentionally inclusive spaces. I regularly partner with students, parents, volunteer groups, and the larger community to build holistic, student-centered learning environments. I\'ve also developed skills as a planner and negotiator who can drive alliances and relationships with non-public schools and non-public agencies. A lifelong learner, I welcome the opportunity to interact with local, national, and international colleagues.
