My role is centered on driving financial performance, ensuring liquidity, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership to support sustainable growth.DSP (Diavaz Servicios Petroleros) & CMG (Compañia Mexicana de Gas)| Financial AnalystIn my capacity at the 2 companies, I focus on comprehensive financial strategy, risk management, and capital allocation to drive profitability and long-term value- Financial Statement & Cost Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), with a special focus on dissecting and optimizing financial costs to improve the bottom line- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, aligning departmental spending with overarching corporate objectives- Cash Flow & Liquidity Management: Engineer detailed cash flow models to forecast liquidity, plan strategic cash utilization, and ensure sufficient working capital for operational and investment needs.Investment & Project Evaluation: Evaluate the financial viability of new projects through rigorous profitability analysis (ROI, NPV, IRR), providing data-driven recommendations to support capital allocation decisions- Capital Strategy & Financing: Lead the process of securing optimal financing for strategic initiatives, analyzing various debt and equity options to ensure favorable terms- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial performance reports and executive summaries for senior management and the board of directors, translating complex data into actionable insights.
