ABOUT JORGE GOMEZ PONCE
I’m a Senior RF Systems Engineer with 10+ years of experience at the forefront of wireless communications and signal processing research and development. My work bridges theory and application — from modeling and analyzing wireless channels (900 MHz to 220 GHz) to designing and implementing advanced systems in Wi-Fi, cellular (4G/5G/6G), UAVs, D2D, and V2X sidelink technologies.Throughout my career, I’ve authored 30+ peer-reviewed research papers, co-invented 2 U.S. patents, and led the development of competitive proposals totaling over $3 million in funding (NSF, NIST, and other agencies). I bring strong communication and problem-solving skills to every project, translating complex ideas into practical innovations.In industry, I’ve applied ray tracing, link-level and system-level simulations, and hands-on prototyping to design next-gen RF and localization systems.
