ABOUT JONATHAN KRUMHOLZ

I was born and raised in Mexico with UK Citizenship and EU Passport.I got a bachelor’s degree in Law and start practicing as Corporate Lawyer for the biggest pharma company in Mexico, who it happened to sponsor a football club in the Mexican League.I continued my preparation with a Master in Corporate Law and moved to a Law Firm as an associated managing a team of 5 lawyers and having, also, the responsibility for Business Development and bringing new clients to the firm. We worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including sports, negotiating, drafting, and reviewing uncountable number of commercial deals. In 2017 I moved to the UK and worked as Operations Manager for an export company on the maritime and defense industry. By analyzing the business model and the main client’s needs, I managed to put in place and execute a strategy that allow us to grow the revenue 10x, bring the profit from 20% to 25% and keep a healthy cash flow for the business. While working here, I had a team of 7 people who reported to me; 5 of them in Chile and another 2 here in the UK.In 2020 I moved to Wolves in the Premier League to work as International Sponsorship development. Regardless been the hardest time for the industry because of the COVID lockdown, I managed to build great key partnerships with brands, digital marketing solution providers, media partners and athletes among others. I was also involved on establishing the esports collaboration with Evil Geniuses when Peak6 investment become a minor shareholder at the club. The main achievement was to bring Royal Caribbean as Sponsor. My determination and the network I was able to develop during my time at Wolves brought me the opportunity to join Crypto.com as Sponsorship Manager. Under this role I am responsible for the management and activation of the football properties we sponsor such as Paris Saint Germain, Serie A, CONMEBOL Libertadores and FIFA. I make sure to squeeze the rights we get by contract to make sure the properties over deliver while keeping a very close relationship internally with the Marketing, Product, growth, and Business Development teams to understand their needs, their goals and plans to make sure we build the best strategies around these properties to help them reach their goals. Additionally, I also work closely with the Sponsorship managers who manage the other properties in our portfolio (i.e. Fnatic, F1, Aston Martin, UFC) to cross activate those properties and make sure that our content/message gets amplified as much as possible and gets the best possible ROI.
