ABOUT JONATHAN WRIGHT
I am a partner and lead the Knights Property team in Birmingham. I specialise in all aspects of residential and commercial property development, with a particular focus on both strategic land and urban mixed-use. I have specialist experience in advising all stakeholders in renewable energy projects. I advise residential and commercial developer clients on all legal issues that confront them, including site acquisition, funding and joint ventures as well as development, promotion and option agreements. I have also acted for a number of development funders and am proud to have personally handled the original financing of the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. In the corporate occupier sector, I have wide experience in food and leisure. In recent years, I have acted on wind, solar (rooftop and ground mounted) and waste to energy schemes acting for occupiers, developers and funds. Through these I have developed expertise in advising on power purchase agreements which underpin these structures.I am proud to be a partner at Knights, a fast growing legal and professional services business offering high-quality expertise across a full range of services.
