My areas of expertise are: materials science (focusing on phase transitions and mechanical properties), novel device physics, numerical simulations (stochastic and deterministic), cardiac simulations, atmospheric data analysis, and back-end software development. I have an interest in data science (in particular data analysis). I have worked as a software developer for over 2.5 years. Before, I finished a postdoctoral position at Northeastern University in biophysics (cardiac dynamics) in October 2014. I have a PhD in Physics and Astronomy (Materials Physics) from McMaster University, an M.Sc. in Physics (Atmospheric Physics) from McGill University, and a B.Eng. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University. My professional interests include a wide variety of disciplines related to Engineering and Physics; the main goal is that I have the opportunity to work on finding solutions to challenging and fulfilling problems with some relation to my education.
