ABOUT JONATHAN ROBERTS
I completed my undergraduate LLB in May 2016, and completed my LLM in August 2017. During my LLM I specialised in LGBT asylum law and procedure, focusing my dissertation on whether the Home Office have an appropriate way of examining sexuality that accords with Human Rights standards and their other legal obligations.Since August 2019 I have been an immigration caseworker, dealing mostly with asylum law matters. These have ranged from a first asylum claim, to further submissions, to appeals against Home Office decisions. I am proud to say I have been more successful than unsuccessful on these as well!Outside of the legal world, I have a keen interest in music, having played guitar for 18 years, and I am currently writing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering my own music!
