Resilience Manager (North of Scotland)National Risk & Resilience DepartmentScottish Ambulance ServiceLeads resilience, emergency preparedness and business continuity activity across the North of Scotland, ensuring national strategies and statutory duties are effectively embedded across regional and multi-agency partnerships.Key roles & responsibilities:Lead and manage a regional resilience team covering the North of Scotland, delivering national risk and resilience priorities.Implement and monitor compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act and associated legislation, including COMAH and REPPIR.Coordinate and deliver organisational input to multi-agency emergency planning, response and recovery arrangements.Lead the development, maintenance and testing of national and local emergency plans through exercises and live incidents.Represent the organisation at Regional Resilience Partnerships, strategic forums and working groups at local, regional and national level.Work in close partnership with Scottish Government, local authorities, emergency services and resilience professionals to strengthen preparedness and response capability.Lead and contribute to national resilience workstreams, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide specialist tactical advice and subject matter expertise during major incidents and emergencies, including participation in an on-call advisory rota.Manage complex stakeholder relationships and sensitive information, operating within appropriate security and governance frameworks.
