I have personally worked within the utilities industry for around a decade starting at entry level continually progressing throughout my career. I have previously worked for energy suppliers and I have also worked within energy distribution providing me with a wealthy insight into the supply and distribution of the gas and electricity we use daily within our lives. Working within these 2 sectors for such a lengthy period of time has vastly grown my knowledge within the industry and also my ability to forge strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and customers Prior to my current role, I worked for an Energy Company which was split into 4 LTD companies each trading as the brand. I managed one of these LTD companies overseeing a portfolio of customers, succeeding in increasing the turnover, profit and growth of this company, recruiting training and managing staff, balancing the daily, monthly and year accounts reporting directly to the owner.
