I lead the team in Liverpool and specialise in defending complex disease claims and claims for discrimination, harassment and victimisation brought under the Equality Act 2010. I also defend clients in claims concerning alleged defamation. As well as defending claims I regularly advise clients in relation to risk management and claims prevention. I work with clients to manage claims, finding practical and cost effective ways of resolving litigation in order to protect against reputational damage. In disease claims I have a particular interest in claims arising out of exposure to asbestos, food poisoning, work related upper limb disorders, silicosis, NIHL and asthma claims.
