ABOUT JON BARNEY

An experienced Operations Manager/ Responsible Individual, with Ofsted and CQC Regulatory knowledge, leading managers and their teams in improving and evidencing positive outcomes for those living within Children\'s and Adult Service homes/ environments. With a proven track record of improving regulatory ratings to Outstanding, multi-site management, and with considerable experience having managed portfolios in excess of 14 homes/ services and Domiciliary Care/ Outreach offerings, and driving businesses forward in change management, quality and people development, you can be confident in my bringing innovative value, stategic focus and stability to your business. Located in southern England (Southampton), my 20 year social care career - supporting highly complex people with learning disabilities, autism, social, emotional and mental health needs (including forensic) and those that present with complex needs where they may struggle to regulate their emotions independently - places me in the balanced position of knowledge and experience within each of these sectors, shaping large portfolios/ teams to work cohesively - with a shared vision for success and positive outcomes for those we support, all of which are always celebrated. Highly effective in senior operational management across social care settings, team collaboration and aspirational values for colleagues, together we proactively challenge the current standards of care delivery for those that we support and care for, looking at new and exciting opportunities to improve the lives and experiences of those we support, each and every day.
