ABOUT JOHN ZARKAUSKAS

In my 16 years of financial services and asset management experience, I have excelled in roles empowering and managing high-performing, cross-functional teams across the business. My first few years in the industry focused on the custody, accounting, pricing, and administration of exchange traded funds. My role expanded into driving operational transformation based on both internal and external drivers related to the Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) business, working closely with clients and technological teams to deliver mutually beneficial results. In 2016, I was accepted into State Street’s Leadership Development Program, a two year rotational program, in which I was able to deliver on initiatives within corporate audit, data governance, and software solutions, with the software solutions role allowing me to travel and work internationally in Frankfurt am Main. I most recently was the Head of ETF Management & Operations for the SSGA Americas ETF Business. In this role, I worked closely with capital markets partners, internal partners within State Street Global Advisors, custodians and other critical vendors spanning across the ETF operating model to ensure optimal service delivery in support of the Americas product lineup. In 2024, I earned the opportunity to take on the role of Head of ETF Operations at Allspring Global Investments.
