Atlanta, GA, US

As Director of Revenue Enablement at Itential, I own the strategy and execution of enablement across the revenue organization, bringing a strong sales background to ensure everything we deliver is practical, scalable, and tied to revenue outcomes. I serve as the connective tissue between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success—translating complex product, market, and customer insights into clear, sales-centric messaging and programs.I lead the standardization and governance of enablement, ensuring consistency in how teams are onboarded, trained, and supported while still allowing for flexibility by role and learning style. The goal is simple: clarity, alignment, and confidence in how teams show up with customers. My focus is on equipping customer-facing teams with repeatable frameworks, tools, and language that accelerate ramp time, shorten sales cycles, improve win rates, and drive long-term customer adoption and retention. Enablement serves as the GPS for Itential’s revenue teams—connecting strategy to execution and turning cross-functional input into action.

ABOUT JOHNNY CRUZ

Revenue Enablement should be built from real sales experience. That belief comes from years in the field—carrying a quota, navigating complex deals, and seeing where enablement truly helps and where it falls short. It’s the lens I bring to how I lead enablement today. As Director of Revenue Enablement, I’m responsible for defining and operating the enablement strategy that supports sales execution and revenue growth. I partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations to ensure enablement is aligned to business priorities and the end-to-end customer buying journey. What sets my approach apart is how enablement is designed and delivered. Having spent years as a quota-carrying seller, I build enablement with a clear understanding of the realities sellers face—limited time, shifting priorities, and pressure to perform. Programs are intentionally focused on the moments that matter most: onboarding that accelerates ramp, role readiness that reinforces core behaviors, and continuous enablement that shows up when sellers actually need it.My work centers on sales methodology, process adoption, and product enablement, all mapped to how buyers evaluate and make decisions. The result is enablement that is practical, relevant, and scalable—driving stronger execution, improved conversion, and greater forecast confidence.Enablement is treated as a strategic discipline, not a support function—translating company strategy into repeatable behaviors that drive consistent performance across the revenue organization.
