As the head of both the Procurement and Fleet department, I successfully managed the dual responsibility of ensuring timely material supply for the PCC contract while upholding rigorous standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. My strategic planning consistently enables us to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on a daily basis.I maintain a vigilant eye on performance metrics, swiftly implementing Action Plans to drive ongoing service improvement. Any critical issues are promptly reported to the Contract Manager to ensure swift resolution. Additionally, I manage vehicle procurement and upgrades within the Fleet Department, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. A number of my notable achievements so far include:• Primary Client Point of Contact, proactively introducing innovative supply solutions and optimizing cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.• Expertly negotiate materials procurement deals, fostering relationships with existing and new suppliers.• Enforce strict compliance with the Contract Core Materials list and explored innovative solutions for value for money (VfM).• Consistently apply best-value principles across the material supply chain relationships.• Effectively supervised the Fleet Manager to retain an adequate volume and type of properly maintained vehicles.• Establish a comprehensive database of accidents, fines, and related records, regularly communicating with the Contract Manager.
