The Electronic Supervisor administers and maintains shipboard computer networks used to monitor engineering functions, cable operations, calculate vessel position, and to conduct and communicate company business onboard the ship and shore offices. Turnaround contract electrical installations of wiring and conduit in industrial facilities.• The Electronic Supervisor maintains vital electronics systems including radar, sonar, navigation, communication, cable engine controls (SCAN dynamic positioning, and other supervisory and safety systems used onboard company vessels. Installations and service calls of controlled access systems.• The Electronic Supervisor maintains electronics equipment in a maximum state of readiness to meet customer needs. Home electrical service, installations and repair.• The Electronic Supervisor ensures that new installations of electronics equipment are fully documented with engineering drawings.• The Electronic Supervisor ensures regulatory compliance of matters regarding ship radio station license, cargo ship safety radio certificate, and GMDSS shore based maintenance certificate.• On electronics matters, the Electronic Supervisor is the liaison for other Company and Contractor Personnel. He coordinates the efforts of technical representatives on repairs and maintenance activities of electronics equipment.
