As a Program Manager for Crossovers and Conversations, I collaborated with student doctors to build meaningful relationships with teenagers from the Rochester City area through basketball. This program uses the sport as a platform to educate and engage young people on important health topics, including substance abuse, safe sex, mental health, and more. In addition to working directly with the students, I aided in various administrative tasks, such as grant writing, program planning, and volunteer recruitment, ensuring the program’s success and growth. This experience has strengthened my leadership, communication, and organizational skills while allowing me to make a positive impact in the community.
