Employed by Shell (SEIC) as Accredited Subject Matter Expert (Technical Authority) Rigging /Lifting, on Sakhalin island Russia. Duties include but not limited to the following:Familiarise and train staff in the operation/maintenance of new Rigging/lifting equipment.Compile maintenance procedures and initiate planned maintenance program.Assist with the development of competency assessments up to B.S Standards.Develop maintenance procedures for rigging, lifting, and crane operations.Supervise, all contractor and company personnel involved in lifting and rigging activities.Supervise, all critical and heavy lifts, Land and MarineSupervise, unloading of all heavy equipment from boats and transportation to plant.Review and approve all rigging/Lifting studies submitted by sub contractors. Carry out Work Safety Analysis Assessments for all rigging and lifting tasks.Assembling a fully working rigging loft and Scaffold store with all certification and document controls up to British standards the ordering of all associated materials, for maintenance of equipment and shutdowns, Computerized (CAD) drawing and implementing of all Lifting plans method statements, Risk assessments, Safety management Systems, procedures and inspection/Testing of all lifting equipment certified and Non certified steelwork, the overseeing of local contractors of various trades,
