GE Vernova is accelerating the path to more reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, while helping customers power economies and deliver the electricity that is vital to health, safety, security, and improved quality of life. As part of this, I lead a team of 12 EHS Mangers for Onshore and Offshore projects. I am also the UK EHS Lead Manager for;implementing HSE Safety Systems and assessing the EHS Pre Construction risk profile of business opportunities which includes Onshore and Offshore Wind Turbines/Substations, including the current Sofia Offshore Convertor Platform.Current projects were I am EHS lead are; Sofia Onshore/ Offshore Wind farm and the EGL-1 5 year Renewable Energy project connecting Scotland and England with renewable electricity. Current clients I am working with are RWE, SSEN, National Grid and Scottish Power. I am also required to work closely with tendering teams and clients to ensure EHS risks are identified for onshore and offshore projects, products, services, equipment and construction plans,so control measures can be implemented.I am also part of the GE Safety Foot Prints Champions delivery team. This enables me to train and coach all GE team members in the bespoke GE behaviour and safety culture program: Safety Foot Prints.
