Responsible for centralized troubleshooting, operation, and management of the Verizon global network• Proactive network monitoring voice/data network architectures relating to system performance impairments, hardware/software faults, and responding to network alarms and events.• Answering incoming technical telephone calls to the Verizon Network Management Center. Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events. Work with external and internal Verizon coordinating and troubleshooting network events.• Provide timely and accurate network technical assistance to external teams by communicating technical details and status to customer service centers, technical support organizations, and executive management teams.• Solve any Network outage supporting & troubleshoot issues. Implement all new solutions and changes as recommended.• Hand on tracing IP and mac addresses to source and destination on multiple vendors, including Cisco Nexus, Juniper, Arista, Nokia, firewall, and F5 load balancer• Perform configure changes while limiting impact on the production network. Provide MOP and technical detail for the maintenance team to perform tests, repairs, and replacements as needed.• Help develop and implement ongoing processes and procedures for better operation.• Provide feedback, and solutions on network architecture, configuration, database, and documentation to improve operation.
