I am a data professional with over 12 years experience and proven skills in, database administration and SQL development, and a couple of years in Data Engineering and managing a team. Advanced knowledge of data management technology such as SQL Server, MySQL, Databricks and Python with a proven ability to adapt to new platforms. Working as a data engineer has given me exposure to a wide range of data management problems and has given me the opportunity to expanded my skillset beyond relational databases which is what first sparked my interest in data. Managing a team for the last 4 years and getting to think at a more strategic level and planning to meet business objectives and add value to the business has been a great experience so far and completely different from the pure technical roles I have had in the past.
