ABOUT JOHN D OSBORNE

The Real Sound Company Limited or for want of a less grand title \"Me\" specialises in every element of Broadcast sound requirements from Studio or Location production sound mixing or recording, live transmissions for news or sport, music recording, PA for large venues or conferences and PSC recording anywhere you have a need. As a BBC trained and employed engineer a few years ago, a Thames TV employee for fifteen years and freelancer running my own business for the last 22 years I have a wealth of knowledge, experience and practical ability in just about every field of sound requirements and I like to keep as many of my skills as up to date as possible by working on different projects. Although I don\'t tend to say I specialise, over the last few years I have worked on many varied drama productions both in the studio and on location and my knowledge of Post Production Sound has helped me considerably when on location. There is less time for retakes these days, so knowing how to cope with difficult noise environments or low artist performance levels is more important than ever, so you can capture the best sound, often without any rehearsal. I use my personality to its full advantage and being a confident chap with a very warm personality helps me to engage with anyone of any age and in any circumstance to get the best and the most out of them. After many years working with Sound, I\'m honestly enjoying myself more now than ever as work is so diverse and full on. I work to the max and enthuse to the max, but above all, I\'m a very good listener!
