Verify that incoming, in-process, and fully assembled material meets Tesla specifications. Responsible for conducting process audits, inspecting material, and coordinating MRB activities, including data input, reporting, and logistics. Work closely with Quality Engineering to provide reports, charts, graphs etc. to monitor and improve product quality. Possesses ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently. Maintains a professional working relationship with line supervisors, operators, and manufacturing engineering.Inspection/verification of in-process, Tesla built material Manage nonconforming material through the MRB process to ensure that nonconforming material is identified, appropriately dispositioned, tracked, and reported Provide mechanical measurement support to identify or solve potential material issues Assist quality engineer in containment activities and material sort activities Conduct regular process audits to identifying non-conforming material and deviations from acceptable process Maintain quality inspection key points and propose necessary updates based on audit findings and product design changes Document audit results, report out on findings, and recommend improvements Work with process engineers and technicians to define and implement countermeasures to top causes of quality defects Coordinate calibration activities, working with outside vendor to ensure that all test and measurement equipment is calibrated prior to use on the manufacturing floor
