ABOUT JOEL CRAMOYSAN FDENG RITTECH

Alongside my role in energy infrastructure, I run J.E.C. Property Group which helps contractors and project teams secure reliable accommodation when working away from home. Anyone who has worked on major infrastructure or engineering projects knows how difficult it can be for travelling crews to find decent long-stay accommodation near site. Hotels are expensive, and short-term rentals are often unreliable or poorly suited to teams working long project schedules. At J.E.C. Property Group we work with contractors and project teams across the UK to provide practical accommodation solutions that allow crews to stay close to site in comfortable, well-managed properties for the duration of their projects. Alongside this business, I currently work as a Project Manager within Hyosung’s UK Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) division, delivering grid-scale energy storage and transformer projects at transmission-level voltages. My role involves coordinating international multidisciplinary teams, managing complex stakeholder environments and protecting both the technical and commercial interests of the organisation while delivering critical infrastructure that supports the UK’s energy transition. Before moving into the energy sector I spent 17 years in the Royal Navy submarine service, followed by three years as an Electro-Technical Officer on large expedition superyachts. These roles developed deep experience in marine engineering, high-voltage electrical systems and technical asset management, while also building leadership skills in high-pressure operational environments. I led diverse teams, managed complex vessel systems and supported major refit and upgrade projects while maintaining operational readiness in remote environments. Across engineering, infrastructure and property, I bring the same core principles to every role: ownership, precision and integrity. I’m particularly motivated by building efficient systems that solve real-world operational problems — whether that’s delivering multi-million-pound energy infrastructure projects or creating practical accommodation solutions for travelling project teams. I remain interested in opportunities within the maritime and superyacht sector, particularly technical management, refit project delivery and marine infrastructure roles.
